Santorini

Santorini is an island-phenomenon whose reputation precedes it. And for good reason. On this legendary island in the Cyclades all your senses seem magnified, a product of its many contrasts: black earth against whitewashed homes clinging to the cliff-side or wild volcanic sculptures against sleek Cycladic lines.

The island is also known as Thera in Greek.

Paros – Antiparos

Paros sits in the heart of the Aegean sea and belongs to the Cyclades ,the island is best known for its magnificent beaches, beautiful villages with picturesque alleys and if you are in a mood for something different and extreme you can visit world-famous kitesurfing and windsurfing sites. Given the island’s central location an island hopping trip is a great idea.

Its nearest neighbor is the municipality of Antiparos which lies to its southwest. Antiparos is one of those Greek islands that have managed to stay off the radar. So it’s not so crowded but have a cosmopolitan character. It is an ideal island for laid-back holidays away from the hustle and the bustle.

Mykonos

Mykonos has been known as the island of the winds and is located in Cyclades . Its fame has spread across the world, as a cosmopolitan and luxurious holiday destination. Bathed in the bright sunlight of the Aegean by day, she dresses in charm and mystery by night to make you have truly memorable moments.

Be sure not to miss it’s famous landmarks such as the windmills and archaeological ruins in Delos.

Small Cyclades

Small Cyclades is an island complex in the Aegean Sea, inside the archipelago of the Cyclades. It is located to the south-east of Naxos and comprises 32 islands and rocks. The main islands are Ano Koufonisi, Kato Koufonisi, Irakleia, Schoinoussa, Donousa and Keros. Here you will admire beautiful views and landscapes that will remind you of when Greece didn’t used to be so touristy and the lifestyle was a lot simpler and slower. The combination of beautiful paths, places to go swimming, siestas and taverns that serve delicious local food make these islands unique and relaxing like no others.

Tinos

Tinos is part of the Cyclades island group.

The overall effect of Tinos island is deeply calming, probably due to its spiritual aura.
The island’s church Panagia Megalochari is one of the most visited religious pilgrimages in Greece.

In addition to its religious atmosphere, the island is known for the traditional architecture of its villages and its charming sandy beaches.

Naxos

Naxos is a Greek island in the South Aegean, the largest of the Cyclades island group.Portara the remaining gate of an ancient temple dedicated to the Olympian god Apollo is one of its impressive monuments and you can see it while entering the main port though, Naxos boasts a beautiful natural landscape, as it is the greenest island of the Cyclades. Imposing mountains, green valleys, beautiful beaches, and rural villages will exalt every nature lovers spirit.

Sifnos

Sifnos stands out thanks to its traditional architecture, fascinating culinary scene and amazing beaches.

The island is also characterized by a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that makes it a popular destination among families and couples.

One of the best things to do there is to visit its quaint villages, especially if you want to experience the essence of the island.

Milos – Polyaigos – Kimolos

Milos is an island in the Cyclades, shaped by its volcanic past to offer its visitors incredible beaches and an exotic beauty unlike any other island in Greece.

Polyaigos is the largest uninhabited island in the Aegean Sea and it’s an exotic paradise. The colours, the feeling it offers and the scenery that will stay in your memory forever cannot be easily described in words.You could call it the unknown “Jem ” of the Aegean.

Kimolos is a tiny yet beautiful island that lies in the western part of the Cyclades next to Milos and Polyaigos. Possessing a volcanic soil and a unique variety of minerals, its chalk mining past is from where its named. The island is famous for its fantastic sandy, pebbly beaches and coves.

Syros

Syros known as the grand dame of the Cyclades has an amazing scenery that combines Cycladic and Venetian architecture.Imagine whitewashed houses blending with colorful mansions and big churches, surrounded by the Cycladic nature. The island has a large number of sea activities, beaches you can enjoy as well as a rich and delicious cuisine.

Folegandros

Folegandros is ideal for peaceful vacation, mouthwatering cuisine, stunning beaches, azure Aegean waters and secluded coves. When visit do not miss the magical charm of its white-washed Chora Village, where you can visit its old Castle dating back to Medieval times.

Tzia – Kythnos

The lovely island of Kea or Tzia as known is located to the south of Attica in proximity to Athens. Although it is part of the Cyclades, it doesn’t really seem like the typical Cycladic island. Its architecture involves neoclassical houses with elegant architecture, painted in earthy colors and tile-roofed buildings in earthy tones.
As for the beaches, some of them are organized while others are secluded and completely unspoiled.

Kythnos is an island in the Cyclades with a landscape that will seduce you, with colours and scents of the Aegean and with history that starts from the prehistoric times.
The coastline is dotted with many beaches that stand out for their natural beauty but also there are thermal springs that have many healing properties thus they are perfect for a free spa treatment.

Aegina – Moni – Angistri island

The Saronic island of Aegina is located very close to Athens and it makes a great destination for short getaways.
It has many archaeological monuments, picturesque villages and beautiful beaches to discover while its main town stands out for its neoclassical architecture.

A visit to the island of Moni, opposite from Aegina, is highly recommended for nature, sun & sea lovers. Enjoy it’s fantastically clean waters and beautiful nature with its animals,being the only inhabitants of the island.

Agistri beaches and the island’s breathtaking natural landscape are the standouts of Agistri. Regarding all these the island is known for its beautiful natural surroundings and clear waters.

Sounio Temple of Poseidon – Vouliagmeni – Hydroussa island

The temple of Poseidon of the ancient Greek god of the sea, dominates the southernmost tip of Attica, where the horizon meets the Aegean Sea. Apart from the archaeological remains, Cape Sounion is also famous for its beautiful sunsets.

Not far away from Athens you can visit the pine-clad peninsula of Vouliagmeni and the affluent seaside suburbs of Voula, Kavouri and Glyfada that offer bon vivants everything they could hope for and more. One of the must do is to visit Vouliagmeni lake that offers natural sea therapy.

If you are a boat kind of person a short trip to Hydroussa or Katramonisi small island with its clear blue waters, make it an ideal destination.

Spetses – Porto Heli

Cosmopolitan Spetses, is one of the favourite islands close to Athens. 

There’s no end to the festivities in the neighbourhood of the Old Harbour. Romantic terraces, gourmet dining and fine wine in combination with beautifully clear waters will make you want to return again and again.

Poros – Hydra

Poros is a quiet and small island in the Saronic Gulf and charms its guests with a stunning picturesque main town, rolling pine hills and clean beaches.

Hydra, built in the shape of an amphitheatre on a slope overlooking the Argosaronic gulf, is one of the most romantic destinations in Greece. Elegant stone mansions, narrow alleys, donkeys walking around, churches and little shops set a picturesque waterfront scenery that seems straight out of a fairytale and travels you to another era.
